Due to Covid-19 this year, Gandhi Jayanti could not be celebrated Physically in KV Udalguri School premise. However, Program for Fit India Freedom Run has been organised since 15th August till 2nd October, 2020 to encourage fitness with a moto: Freedom from obesity, laziness, stress, anxiety, diseases, etc.
All the Staff members and Students successfully participated in the 2km Fit India Plog Run, organised by FIT India Mission on 2nd October to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Gandhiji and Cleanliness Day, 2020.
Moreover, to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, KV Udalguri organised an online program for the students, anchored by Shri Anurag Pandey, TGT (Hindi). The Online Program was successfully completed with the participation of Students and Teachers. It was followed by Essay competition for Elementary and Secondary Students on the topic: "Be the Change you want to see in the world" (Gandhi), and a quiz competition for all the students through Diksha portal.
After the program, students participated in cleanliness drive, and freedom run. The photos of which are compiled in the video.
