International Plastic Bag Free Day was born as an international campaign, created by activists from associations such as Zero Waste Europe and GAIA, and is celebrated on July 3rd.
It is an important day to raise awareness of the negative impact of disposable plastic bags on the planet's environment.

How can we celebrate this day?
Each one can participate by reducing the use of plastic bag, instead use organic bag made out of paper and other materials rather than plastic or non organic materials.
Activities
Any willing students can participate by doing any of the following activities:
1. Drawing and painting related to Plastic Bag Free.
2. Write a poem about Plastic Bag.
3. Write an essay on: "Plastic bag and its impact on the environment"
4. And any related activities of Plastic Bag.
